My Own Practice Tutorial Video
Evaluation of my own instructional video - Creating my own instructional video did prove somewhat difficult at times, but I think it turned out okay. Firstly, when it came to filming each shot I had to use a handheld camera, meaning each shot was slightly unsteady due to not having a tripod / something to rest the camera on. This made the overall video not as great as I hoped, but I know that when I do come to create my barbering dry run, and also the final product for the client, I will be using a tripod to make each shot steady, making it look more professional. Cutting between each clip, I decided to use a simple cut, rather than using something that could be distracting or things like graphic effects, as I thought that was most suitable for this genre of video. As well as this, after watching several other barbering videos, the large majority also use simple cuts from one clip to another.
